As many of our members know, Royal Resorts and its members have been sponsoring the Christel House Learning Centre in Bangalore since it opened in 2001. All of the children sponsored by Christel House come from seriously impoverished backgrounds, and therefore as well as providing all the food and snacks that the children of Christel House need in a school year, the Royal Group also sponsors an annual trip to one of the resorts in Goa. As most of these children would not have had the opportunity to leave the narrow confines of their small communities without Christel House, let alone come away for a vacation, this is a very special event indeed!

This year was again a magical experience as a new group of children saw the beach and the sea for the first time in their lives; shared an evening of entertainment with members including a very special magic show and Bollywood dance extravaganza; had a talent show; and also got to see some of the resorts are reliably informed that they all loved the wonderful holiday ambience at the resorts, not to mention the many tasty treats served up at meal times!

As usual we would like to thank those members and guests who helped with the children during this event.
